Austin City Limits Festival announced a stellar lineup for ACL this year. ACL came to an agreement with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department on Tuesday to expand the grass-thrashing, mud-inducing festival across two separate weekends. The two lineups scheduled for October 4 – 6 and 11 – 13 are expected to be almost identical. Heavy hitters Muse, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Kings of Leon, Lionel Richie, Kendrick Lamar, Atoms for Peace, Queens of the Stone Age, Phoenix and Wilco are all slated for this year’s festival.

THE CREATIVES AT ACL RECRUITED SOME TALENTED BATS TO SHOW US THIS YEAR’S LINEUP:

The pleasant surprise was a heavy infusion from Austin’s own local incredible roster like The Bright Light Social Hour, The Black Angels, Shakey Graves, Court Yard Hounds, True Believers, My Jerusalem, Okkervil River, The Band of Heathens, Asleep at the Wheel, Shinyribs, Sons of Fathers, School of Rock and Dana Falconberry. Someone has been listening.
