TICKETS: Subscribers can renew their Broadway in Austin presented by Texas Performing Arts 2019-20 Season subscription at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 12; starting at $224 for six shows and $249 for seven shows.  Subscribers may add the return of LES MISÉRABLES to make it a 7-show package. For more information, patrons can visit BroadwayInAustin.com or call Broadway in Austin at 800-731-SHOW (7469), from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The deadline for current Season Subscribers to renew their seats is March 12. Austin, TX – Broadway in Austin presented by Texas Performing Arts is thrilled to announce it’s 2019-20 Season; the ONLY national touring Broadway series in Austin.  “We’re amid an amazing 2018-19 season, and Broadway in Austin has done it again – blending a season of favorite gems with new powerful, moving and just plain fun shows sure to become favorites.  I can’t wait!” states Rachel Durkin-Drga, Texas Performing Arts Senior Associate Director.

Season Subscribers enjoy the best seats in the house for Broadway hits all season long, plus the option to purchase tickets before the general public. Subscribers also receive great benefits including ticket exchange and replacement services, the opportunity to request a seating upgrade for the season ahead, and much more. The renewal deadline for current subscribers is March 12.

Broadway in Austin presented by Texas Performing Arts 2019-20 Season features seven incredible productions from September 2019 to May 2020 at Bass Concert Hall. Please note: 2019-20 Season packages are only available to current, renewing subscribers.  New patrons are encouraged to sign up for the official waiting list at BroadwayinAustin.com and will be notified once new subscriptions become available.

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is an iconic musical phenomenon with a world-wide fan base. In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, a new mesmerizing production comes to North America and launches in Austin. With music and lyrics by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winners Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas. Originally staged by London’s Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, this production won the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
