Music icon Glen Campbell is now in the final stages of Alzheimer’s Disease. AMFM Magazine was lucky to be on hand to see his Grammy performance in 2012, where he performed a rousing rendition of “Rhinestone Cowboy,” to the crowd’s delight. Suddenly after the performance, it was painful to watch his confusion as he exited the stage. Glen Campbell’s influence on a generation was profound but his legacy may be the grace and humor with which he is handling his disease.

Listen as Bruce Springsteen, U2’s The Edge, Paul McCartney, Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Steve Martin, The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Chad Smith and President Bill Clinton all pay tribute to Glen Campbell and his inspiration and influence on their lives. See Glen Campbell’s website
