TWO OLYMPIC MEDALLISTS CHALLENGE EACH OTHER AT HIGH ALTITUDE: CASSARÀ AND AVOLA ON THE ADAMELLO GLACIER

Andrea Cassarà, reigning world champion, winner of the Foil Fencing World Cup 2012, gold medal at London Olympics, and current leader of the international ranking 2012, faced Giorgio Avola, an emergent young fencer, medallist at the Olympic Games held in London, at 3000 metres above sea level on the Presena Glacier on Friday.

The initiative was arranged by ‘Adamello Ski’ under the patronage of the Italian Fencing Federation, to showcase the natural beauty of the area and promote tourism.
