Do512 and the Alamo Drafthouse are pleased to announce the return of their highly popular summer event series to The Long Center, Austin Sound & Cinema.
Sound & Cinema will once again feature unique pairings of classic Hollywood movies with a diverse array of local bands from different genres. The six-event summer series will be held on the lawn at The Long Center on opposite Wednesdays from Blues on the Green. These events are free, family-friendly, and open to the public.The food trucks will open at 6pm each night, and the sunset concerts will start around 7pm. The movies will begin shortly after dark (around 8pm). Guests are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs, and non-alcoholic beverages. Pets and outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Parking is available in the Long Center garage, and there will also be bike racks and a free car2go drop zone.
