CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF KEEPING AUSTIN MUSIC ALIVE & WELL

In 2005 Robin Shivers founded HAAM with the dream of providing Austin’s working musicians with access to affordable healthcare. When we opened our doors to 450 musicians that first year, many thought the program sounded too good to be true. Ten years later, we are proud to report that we have helped more than 3,500 musicians access over 78,000 healthcare appointments valued at over $30 million dollars.

HAAM was created in a spirit of collaboration and generosity that was the hallmark of our Founder Robin Shivers, and has now become an integral part of the Austin music community and of our entire city. From our affiliate Service Providers (Seton Healthcare Family, The St. David’s Foundation and Capital Area Dental Foundation, The SIMS Foundation, Estes Audiology, and Prevent Blindness Texas), to our inspiring musicians, to our board of directors, and of course the volunteers and donors that make up our army of HAAMbassadors, HAAM has been blessed with unparalleled community support over the last decade. We cannot think of a better way to celebrate our 10th anniversary than to bring all of you together. Join us on March 4 from 6-10pm at Vuka (411 W. Monroe St) for libations, bites, and of course fabulous live music! We are fortunate and honored to have the Marcia Ball Band and Shelley King Band playing for us at this kick-off bash to celebrate our 10th HAAMiversary!
