With an overwhelming number of designers interested in presenting at the world’s largest Swim industry event, more collections and a second group show are added to jam-packed lineup
MIAMI, FL – This season, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim reaches an all-time high with over 30 international designers showing their latest swimwear collections.
June 22, 2012 (New York, NY) Highly regarded as the go-to event for swimwear designers to debut their latest collections, and for buyers and editors to plan their upcoming assortments and stories, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim will see over 30 international designers. IMG Fashion has responded to increasing interest in the Event by adding more designers to the schedule along with a second group runway show.
Monday, July 23rd will see two multi-line shows of top swimwear designers in the Cabaña Grande at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. Aguaclara and Aquarella Swimwear will once again be returning to the runway, alongside Cote D’Or Swimwear and Sauvage who will be debuting their 2013 collections in the first group show at 8:00pm. Later that evening, the much anticipated second group runway show will feature rising talent Anna Kosturova, Dorit, Keva | J and Naïla.
“The amount of interest in the event continues to grow each season. With only so many time slots available, group shows are an incredibly efficient platform for designers to present at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim and showcase their collections in front of a global audience of industry professionals” says Christina Neault, Executive Producer, IMG Fashion. “For designers, group shows offer turn-key production and public relations elements. For buyers and media in attendance, it allows them to see three or four designers within one show.”
Lisa Burke, designer of Lisa Blue, this season’s opening show stated,

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim takes place at The Raleigh from July 19-23, 2012. The five days of exclusive invitation-only shows, presentations and special events will showcase the following designers:
