    Interview by Paul Salfen

Emmy Nominated Choreographer Brooke Lipton is one of television’s favorite choreographers. She co-choreographed for six seasons on Fox’s hit TV show GLEE, helping to amass the show’s brand as an event to look forward to each week.

The voice in her work is expressed through her extensive vocabulary making perfect use of spatial and visual awareness. She continues to make her mark in television, choreographing for shows such as THE GOLDBERGS, AMERICAN HORROR STORY, STRANGE ANGEL, LUCIFER, and Apple TV+’s PALM ROYALE.

Brooke had an amazingly successful season as Assistant Choreographer for the Emmy Nominated TV hit Glee and with the National Glee Tour. You can see Brooke as a featured dancer in the movie Rock of Ages.

A native of Phoenix, AZ, Brooke Lipton was a rising star in the LA dance scene at the young age of 12. Brooke spent her summers dancing at the LA studios and conventions and was highly sought after by the industry’s top choreographers. After high school, Brooke moved to LA to pursue her dream of being a professional dancer. She has worked with artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Queen Latifah, Pink, Lenny Kravitz, Chaka Khan, and Jewel, to name a few.

Brooke has toured the world with Britney Spears in the Dream Within A Dream Tour and The Onyx Hotel Tour. She has assisted on So You Think You Can Dance and recently worked as the Assistant Choreographer on the Disney Channel movie StarStruck, starring Sterling Knight. Hard at work on season 2, she continues to teach across the US, giving back to the community that has taught her so much about the world of dance.
