By Paul Salfen Exclusive Interview at the 2026 NRB Convention
No Limbs No Limits
Imagine navigating a bustling day without arms or legs—walking, tending to basic needs, or embracing loved ones. This is the reality for Nicholas Vujicic, born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia, without limbs due to an unexplained medical condition. Despite three sonograms showing no issues, his family faced the profound challenge and blessing of raising a son determined not to let his physical limitations define him.
From early struggles with bullying, depression, and loneliness, Nick questioned his purpose. Yet, his faith in God became the cornerstone of his victory, inspiring him alongside family, friends, and countless encounters. Since his first speaking engagement at 19, he’s traveled globally, addressing millions in packed stadiums, from students to business leaders and church groups.
Today, this dynamic evangelist has authored books, pursued music and acting, and enjoys hobbies like fishing, painting, and swimming. In 2005, he founded NickV Ministries (formerly Life Without Limbs) in Southern California, where he serves as President and CEO. The international non-profit aims to spread the Gospel and unite Christ’s body through Nick’s testimony. Since inception, over one million have decided for Christ—praise God! With goals to reach another billion by 2028 via live events, prison and student ministries, and prayer support.
At the 2026 NRB Convention, I had the honor of interviewing Nick amid the vibrant atmosphere. He was promoting his upcoming documentary, No Limits, set for theatrical release on September 25, 2026.
The film offers a raw, behind-the-curtain look at Nick’s life before Christ—the ups and downs, bullying, and a suicide attempt. Featuring interviews with his mom, siblings, and even the high school janitor who sparked his speaking career, it’s a story of brokenness transformed. “It’s all about there’s no limit as to what God can do with your broken pieces if you give him your yes,” Nick shared passionately.
Reflecting on discovering his speaking gift, Nick recounted giving his life to Christ at 15 and becoming high school vice president at 17. That janitor prophesied, “God’s going to take you all around the world, and you’re going to speak your story.” Organizing Nick’s first speech, it revealed God’s plan: healing his heart, renewing his mind, and saving his soul.
For those aspiring to share their stories, Nick advises, “Your history is his story… I don’t want my plan. I want God’s plan. I don’t want my strength. I want his strength. And if God can use a man without arms and legs to be his hands and feet, then God is any willing heart. Lastly, when you don’t get a miracle, God can still cause you to be one.”
Discussing “Hail Mary” moments—those pivotal risks—Nick emphasized taking one day at a time, seeking God openly. “It’s not about what you accomplish… It’s about being and loving on him and abiding in him.”
On maintaining a success mindset, especially in tough times, he clings to Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Over 20 years, his ministry has reached 1 billion souls digitally and 11 million face-to-face through 3,500 speeches, investing a million dollars annually. “Not only for one person who gives their life to Jesus—it’s all worth it.”
Nick urges everyone to see No Limits on September 25, 2026—fill theaters with churches, youth groups, and friends. Visit nickvteam.com for the trailer and nickthefilm.com to express interest. His message? God has a plan for you too.
In a world craving inspiration, Nick Vujicic proves limits are illusions when faith leads the way.
