Interview by Christine Thompson

British Invasion band and Rock n Roll Hall of Famers The Zombies were in Austin, TX for SXSW to premiere the feature documentary HUNG UP ON A DREAM, and promote their new album “A Different Game.” Keyboardist, and band founder Rod Argent and singer Colin Blunstone gave us some insight into the making of the album, which is available for pre-order on their official website https://www.thezombiesmusic.com/.

Three songs have been released so far, “Dropped Reeling & Stupid,” the ethereally beautiful “Love You While I Can,” and “Merry Go Round.”  The full album will be released March 31st, which coincides with the month in 1968 when their hit “Time Of The Season” rocketed up the US charts.

The documentary is about the early days of the band and their struggles and successes, and premiered to an appreciative audience March 12th.
