One Last Shot, and They Meant the Punch

Scott Adkins, Steven Cree, and James Nunn

Scott Adkins has spent a career getting hit so the camera can believe it. On One Last Shot, the third and closing film in James Nunn’s single-take action trilogy, the hits stopped being theoretical. Sitting with Paul Salfen, Adkins, Steven Cree, and Nunn talk about a broken rib, a torn pec, a speedboat stunt Cree was told to do himself, and a movie that only exists if the last take of the day survives. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the film on digital and DVD on September 22, 2026, with Hannah Ware and Dolph Lundgren alongside Adkins’ Navy SEAL Jake Harris and Cree’s rogue former comrade Elliot Carter. This is the punch they let land.
