Following the resounding success of last year’s theatrical run, excitement is building for the next chapter in the beloved series. 5&2 Studios is set to unveil The Chosen: Last Supper (Season 5) in theaters during the weeks leading into Easter on March 28, 2025. Distributed by Fathom in the U.S. and Trafalgar Releasing internationally, this cinematic-format release promises to bring the most pivotal week in history to life in a truly emotional and transformative experience.

In a special interview with AMFM Magazine, host Paul Salfen sits down with Jonathan Roumie—the actor who portrays Jesus in The Chosen. In this engaging conversation, Jonathan shares his insights into the making of Season 5 and discusses the unique challenges and rewards of portraying such an iconic character. The interview provides fans with an intimate look at the passion and dedication behind the series.

The theatrical event is designed to offer audiences a unique way to experience the narrative. Over a four-week run in the U.S. and Canada, all episodes of The Chosen: Last Supper will be presented in three parts:

    Part One (episodes 501-502)
    Part Two (episodes 503-505)
    Part Three (episodes 506-508)
This structure ensures that viewers can enjoy the complete story arc throughout the entire run, deepening their connection to the narrative and characters.

Expanding its global reach, beginning on April 10, 2025, The Chosen: Last Supper Part One will also roll out theatrically in more than 40 territories around the world, including major markets like Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Philippines, and India, among others. Later in 2025, fans can also look forward to the season’s streaming debut, making it accessible to an even broader audience.

This upcoming theatrical experience not only highlights the enduring impact of The Chosen series but also marks a significant moment in storytelling, blending historical narrative with cinematic innovation. With the added insight from Jonathan Roumie in his exclusive conversation with AMFM Magazine, fans across the globe are given an even richer context behind the scenes of this monumental event.
