MISSION IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONING Part One: Movie Minute Review

    Review by Paul Salfen

This is Paul Salfen with your KLAK Movie Minute. In theaters this week is Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One, the highly anticipated action blockbuster that was almost guaranteed to deliver – and it does. Tom Cruise is back to save the day at the box office once again and give audiences another reason to flock to the big screen to witness the action spectacle of the year. This one follows Ethan Hunt and his crew for (surprise surprise) the most dangerous mission yet – and this one has an enemy that can’t be stopped – AI. From the opening scene, the audience is drawn in and get treated to the craziest stunts, best fights, and wildest chases. Throw in some comedic relief by Simon Pegg and a dash of romance and the rest is go go go until the end. And, of course, being that this is Part 1, it does end on somewhat of a cliffhanger, but this is one that’s surely worth coming back for. It’s everything you expect- and that’s a good thing. There’s no denying that Cruise is a sure bet for a good time at the movies and we can all be thankful for that! That’s it for this week. Join me next week and every week for another Movie Minute right here on 97.5 KLAK, AMFM Magazine, and RECRD.
