This is Paul Salfen with your KLAK Movie Minute. In theaters now is Bad Boys: Ride or Die, the hilarious action-packed sequel that further proves that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are unstoppable together. Of course there has been a lot of talk about if “the slap heard around the world” would affect Smith’s career and this should squash that. It’s down to business immediately in the movie as we get some laughs and action right away and the story has its twists and turns with old characters returning, funny cameos, and some great new characters. This time Mike and Mrcus are on the run from the police and bad guys after being framed and it takes a small army of friends and family to get through it. Although it’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, the film knows its audience and gives them more of what they want, which is smart. This is what a big summer movie looks like and is a great big screen experience – especially with a full house. Get your popcorn ready and go have some fun with this one. That’s it for this week. Join me next week and every week for another Movie Minute right here on 97.5 KLAK, AMFM Magazine, and RECRD.
