Fantastic Fest was about to swallow Austin again, and the pair were about to unveil Littermates, their first feature — a comic dystopian sibling story you can barely logline without stepping on a spoiler. Two survivors wash up at an English cottage. A strange caretaker teaches them to speak. The gate stays locked. Karaoke is a reward.
