“I Feel So Important”: FROM Star Hannah Cheramy Says Season 4 Is the Best Yet – And Drops a Major Hint About What’s Coming

Hannah Cheramy on FROM Season 4: “This Season Is the Best One for Sure” An Exclusive Interview with AMFM Magazine’s Paul Salfen

In the shadowy, ever-unpredictable world of MGM+’s hit series FROM, few characters have captured hearts and fueled theories quite like Julie Matthews. As the town’s mysteries deepen and the stakes climb higher, actress Hannah Cheramy has stepped boldly into the spotlight—delivering a performance that’s both vulnerable and powerfully driving the narrative forward.

In an engaging conversation with AMFM Magazine’s Paul Salfen, Cheramy opened up about the thrills of Season 4, the personal growth she’s experienced alongside her character, and what it means to be part of one of television’s most addictive genre mysteries.

A Season of Growth and Fulfillment

Cheramy doesn’t hold back when describing her feelings about the new season: “Season four is like it’s the best season to me for sure.” The increased screen time and narrative weight have been deeply rewarding. “I feel like I’ve had so much more to do this season and I’m just like, oh my God. Like, I feel so important,” she shared. “I feel like it makes me feel really good as an actor to be like, oh my God, I’m actually like doing something like driving some plot forward in my own way. Like, feels really, really fulfilling.”

The show’s runaway success has transformed her life in tangible ways—from skyrocketing social media attention to a growing fanbase that sees her as an inspiration. Yet Cheramy remains grounded. “I try not to let numbers or anything like affect how I feel about myself,” she noted, while acknowledging the profound shift since Season 1.

Advice for Aspiring Storytellers: “Keep It Weird”

For young actors and creatives looking up to her, Cheramy’s message is refreshingly authentic: “Keeping weird like weird people, book roles, weird people come up with weird stories and they can tell weird stories. And I think that’s like being creative and being yourself is like 100% the best way to succeed.”

She knows firsthand what it means to take a leap of faith. Booking the role of Julie meant missing prom and graduation—major life milestones for a young performer. “That was a big Hail Mary for me,” she told Salfen and co-host Drew Pearson. “I was like, I’m going to choose my career over this like, big moment in my life.”

Inside Julie’s World: Preparation and Pressure

Playing a character trapped in a nightmarish pocket dimension demands intense emotional work. Cheramy’s process is deeply personal: “I really try to just sort of get into my own world and really ground myself in my body and like what Julie would be feeling in those moments. I listen to my sad songs and my playlists, and I really just, like, try to be in myself.”

She admits the fantasy elements stretch the imagination. “It’s kind of hard when it’s like fantasy in that way where it’s like, what would I do if I was in this position? Like, I don’t even think I’d still be alive.”

Celebrating the Craft Behind the Creeps

Beyond the scares and suspense, Cheramy hopes viewers appreciate the immense collaborative effort that makes FROM so visually and emotionally compelling. “I really hope that people like to see all of the freaking hard work that we put into this show,” she emphasized. From production design and sound to nuanced acting choices and cinematography, every detail matters. “Everything about it is just so like perfect, down to like the tea.”

    What’s Next?

While Cheramy stayed tight-lipped on specific spoilers—“prepare to have answers”—she teased more revelations and character growth ahead. Season 5 is already on the horizon, and fans can expect her continued dedication to the role that has defined her career so far.

FROM Season 4 continues to deliver the perfect blend of horror, mystery, heart, and mind-bending twists that have made it a cult favorite. As Julie Matthews evolves, so does Hannah Cheramy—proving that staying true to yourself while embracing the weird can lead to extraordinary places.

Stream new episodes of FROM on MGM+ and follow Hannah Cheramy on social media for more behind-the-scenes glimpses into this unforgettable journey. Happy (halfway to) Halloween from all of us at AMFM Magazine!
