    Interview by Paul Salfen

We had a chance to catch Nick Offerman on the eve of the SXSW premiere of HEARTS BEAT LOUD, in which a Red Hook, Brooklyn father and daughter become an unlikely songwriting duo in the last summer before she leaves for college. Through their music they begin to connect in new ways and, in turn, both learn about growing up, letting go, and the power of music.  Nick talked about the film as well as where to find some of the best brisket “in the world” in Austin – no spoiler alerts for that, watch the interview.

    HEARTS BEAT LOUD

    Director: Brett Haley

Cast: Nick Offerman, Kiersey Clemons, Ted Danson, Blyth Danner, Toni Collette
