Social Media Star Bailey Spinn On New Music Release and What It Takes To Be An Influencer

    Interview by Paul Salfen

Bailey Spinn has taken the music industry by storm with her debut single and MV “Romance is Dead.” Following the success of her first single, Bailey’s has now just released her second sing “Runner Up” with her EP coming out later this summer. We would love to arrange an interview with you and Bailey to discuss her unbelievable transition into the music industry, her newest single, and her upcoming EP that will be the music hit of the Summer. Bailey is also available to speak on her one-of-a-kind journey growing up as a closeted pansexual in conservative Virginia, and her career overall.

Drawing inspiration from one of her favorite vocalist and performers, Hayley Williams (Paramore), Bailey’s debut music promises to bring back the Pop-Punk sound of the early/mid-2000s with a fresh Gen Z take. Currently, Bailey has been training her voice and getting more comfortable showing off her natural born skills on her YouTube channel performing covers. Garnering millions of views on her covers along, Bailey is finally ready to share with the world her personal music and voice. As someone who is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Bailey wanted to make sure her music was a clear reflection of who she is and purposely decided to leave out as many gender pronouns in her upcoming music.

Born and raised in Fairfax, VA along with her two sisters, Bailey grew up absolutely obsessed with social media, fashion and pop culture. With her upbringing, Bailey grew up with a pre-conceived view of the world that would ultimately take her the majority of her young adult life to find confidence and her truth. Bailey also grew up being severely bulled by other teens at her school and believes social media helped save her. Once finishing high school, Bailey made the move to San Diego, CA to attend San Diego State University. Once there she began getting recognition for her TikTok page and viral content.

After completing her freshmen yea of university, Bailey came to the conclusion that higher education was not meant for her at that time and put her all into growing on her various social media platforms. Through persistence and hard work, Bailey would go on to secure more than 17 million followers across all social platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter). Quickly rising in the content creator atmosphere, Bailey first became viral on TikTok for the “POV” trend before expanding out to other content and would eventually start releasing covers of songs on her YouTube channel in preparation for her upcoming original music release.
