    Giovanni Ribisi as Tony Kiritsis

Dick Hall walked 63 hours on a wire and spent the rest of his life being called a sissy for not fighting back. Kristoffer Polaha kept the page that explains why in his script.

Paul Salfen talks with Kristoffer Polaha (Dick Hall), Mireille Enos (Barbara Heckman), and Giovanni Ribisi (Tony Kiritsis) about MGM+’s American Hostage — the psychological thriller inspired by the 1977 Indianapolis standoff, when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis demanded airtime with radio newsman Fred Heckman. Jon Hamm stars as Heckman and executive produces. The series is co-created by Shawn Ryan and Eileen Myers.
